Греческие власти начали активнее бороться с незаконной арендой

Только на платформе Airbnb обнаружено около 20 тысяч незарегистрированных объектов краткосрочной аренды.

В Греции сдача квартир внаём на короткий срок строго регулируется с 2017 года. Объекты, выставленные владельцами для краткосрочной аренды, должны быть зарегистрированы в Независимом регистре объектов и иметь специальный номер. Он должен быть указан при публикации объявлений, и по нему арендодатель ежегодно должеть отчитываться местным налоговым органам. На данный момент в Греции объектов, не имеющих этот налоговый номер, насчитывается более 20 тысяч, пишет Greek Reporter. Их удалось обнаружить с помощью специальной программы по поиску в сети.

Георгиос Пицилис, глава независимого органа по государственным доходам (AADE), распорядился направить запрос в адрес руководства Airbnb и запросить данные о владельцах недвижимости, у которых нет регистрационного номера. Греческие власти также проверят владельцев на наличие номера и на других платформах (например, Booking.com или HomeAway).

На данный момент контролирующие налоговые органы отследили и привлекли к ответственности 130 греческих налогоплательщиков.
