The Kyiv city chairman Leonid Chernovetskiy enacted a decree on creating commission in order to check monuments in Kyiv. Press-service of the Kyiv city state administration informed about it.

According to the first deputy chairman of the Kyiv city state administration Denis Bass, commission should check all the monuments in Kyiv till August, 15. “Kyiv is a city where some places have not been influenced by time in spite of standing near modern centers of business, science and techniques. So the Kyiv authorities pay much attention to preservation of monuments”, said Denis Bass.

He informed after checkup of monuments the Kyiv authorities will settle a question about its preservation and restoration. Deputy chairman of the Kyiv city state administration Vitali Zhuravskiy has headed this commission.
