“Social class housing prices get lower. ‘Khruschovky’, panel flats and all the housing at groundlessly inflated prices go down,” T.M.M. construction company director general Mykola Tolmachov said.

In his words, it’s going on because very often this kind of housing was bought with speculative purposes. “Sooner or later the worthless flats had to get cheaper,” he added.

At present, the demand on such housing has significantly dropped. At the same time, the business-class apartments do not cheapen and as popular as before.

Experts are sure that this summer potential buyers can expect the price drop not more than by 5-10 pct.
